Modernization of Vocational Education and Training project (MOV) develops the quality of vocational education and training and promotes integration of school leavers into the labour market. It is funded by the European Structural and Investment Funds and implemented by the National Institute for Education.

Master Exam – System

The intention of establishing the principles of equality in education requires the provision of equal conditions for all pupils, including pupils with special educational needs. This fact is reflected by the strategic plans of the Czech Republic in the education system and the related legislative changes that place increased demands on the capacity of the educational system to provide adequate support for pupils threatened by social exclusion, pupils from different cultural backgrounds and other pupils with special educational needs.

PKAP: The Support of Action Planning

The Support of Action Planning project focuses on support and development of strategic management on the level of school authorities, secondary schools, tertiary vocational schools and on preparation of material used for support of action planning, at both these levels, and on support of the action and long-term system that will be used also after completion of this project.

National curricula

National curricula so called Framework Educational Programmes) define the general obligatory framework for creating school curricula (School Educational Programmes) for all fields of study in preschool, basic education, art, language and secondary education. Framework Educational Programmes were incorporated into the education system of the Czech Republic by law No. 561/2004 Coll. on Preschool, Basic, Secondary, Tertiary Professional and Other Education (the School Act). This law has been amended in 2015 by the Decree No. 82/2015.
