Below is an overview of currently available evaluation tools, with links to their characteristics and publication schedule. The evaluation tools are located at the portal of evaluation tools and at the RVP.CZ portal.
By an evaluation tool we understand a reliable method or technique of collecting data for school self-assessment and procedures that support various phases of the evaluation process. They can include didactical tests (not to be created or verified within the project), questionnaires for pupils, parents, teachers, inspectional protocols, various recording sheets, chronicles of school events, interviews with pupils, parents, or methods of promoting discussion, prioritization, direction of school development, etc.
Each evaluation tool went through the process of verification. The purpose of this process called standardization in technical terminology was to gain and then provide users with such a tool with as much information as possible about how to use the tool and interpret the results. It is a collection of ideas and experiences from the schools, in terms of quantitative tools to obtain aggregate results of other schools in order to confront them with the results of their own school and thus get richer information.
Selection of evaluation tools into the planned thirty was implemented within the Road to Quality Improvement project gradually.
